HEY SPACE ENTHUSIASTS
Are you a student? Excited to make some steps towards a future in space? Fired up to show your skills in a contest? Then get ready to participate in The Curiosity Contest 2026! ✨
With the theme of REUSE & ISRU (In situ resource utilisation), you will be challenged to come up with solutions in the area of sustainability and material efficiency. Will you look into the retrieval of rockets from the ocean? 🌊 Regulations to globalise the use of bio-based materials? 🌏The ethics of space habitation on other planets? 🪐 We are excited to see it all!
Throughout the contest, there will be several workshops to guide the teams. There will be lectures, feedback sessions and prototyping. On top of that, you will have the chance to come into contact with professionals from the space industry and to work towards winning fantastic prizes! 🌟

Earth-observation for sustainability, etc.
DISCOVERY
All about space exploration. Self-repairing materials for space habitats, our responsibility as humans in invading new planets, retrieving broken rovers from Mars, etc.

THE CURIOSITY MINI-CONTEST
Get ready for the Curiosity kick-off event: a mini-contest for space-enthusiastic students. In groups of 4, you will have an hour to come up with a design for an important and current topic: space debris. After, each team will pitch their design before a jury of space professionals, who will select the winning team of the day. The winners will walk away with special tickets to the Golden Reel Challenge in Bremen on Nov. 19 2025!
In short, an afternoon full of creativity, competition and most of all: space!
